eLDINFO (www.eldinfo.com) added eLearning job section to the portal. Job section contains listing of current eLearning jobs compiled from several job search portals as well as learning/training web sites.

eLDINFO also introduced a new eLearning solutions directory which is completely free. Any person or organization, whether that’s an elearning development specialist, designer, consultant, elearning software creator, LMS/LCMS solution provider is welcome to enter their information to be listed in the directory. Currently eLDINFO free directory contains over 200 entries in several categories (and growing) of people and organizations involved in elearning. The process is easy. All you need to do is click “Add to Directory” in the Design/Author or LMS/LCMS sections of the eLDINFO portal, then enter your information, link to your web site and select category you want to be listed, and there is no fee. It is one more venue for those involved in learning to advertise their services, and it’s free. In addition, the information is also added to the eLDINFO dedicated search engine.

All other elearning resources of the eLDINFO portal (search engine, events listings, training, jobs, etc.) are also freely available without any fees or registration of any kind.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

So, what's eLDINFO? A web portal? A search engine? A blog? It's all of these things and more. eLDINFO is the one-stop-hub for eLearning community. It's been designed and developed by the eLearning professional with an understanding of eLearning professionals' needs, desires and pain-points.

The eLearning web portal
The eLDINFO web portal brings under one roof the latest news from industry leaders, links to eLearning solutions providers, instructional designers, developers, authoring software and LMS creators. It provides information about conferences, seminars/webinars, training events, books and tutorials.

The eLearning search engine.
Yes, there is Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. They provide millions of links, but only a small percentage of these links are relevant to elearning. It takes time to filter through those records and find exactly what youre looking for. The eLDINFO search engine does that for you. The eLDINFO web crawler crawls the web and indexes web sites relevant to eLearning. The eLDINFO data base (periodically updated) contains hundreds of thousands of records (and growing), records meaningful to the eLearning community.

The eLearning blog
Through the "Topics" blog and the "Discussions" forum on eLDINFO, seasoned professionals as well as novices can ask and answer questions, discuss development software, LMS solutions, talk about conferences and events, and other eLearning subjects.

More
eLDINFO is aiming to be the place to go to for the eLearning community. It is the eLearning resource web portal for anyone needing information about any aspect of eLearning. The place for designers, developers and software/solution providers to advertise their skills, experience and services. A hub for eLearning professionals to exchange information, connect, learn, grow and expand.
